We apologize for the late notice, but the 5th-grade orientation scheduled for tonight, 5/19, has been canceled.

This afternoon, there was a medical emergency in Avon that required the use of the practice soccer field. The incident did not involve any Abingdon-Avon staff or students and was not related to the school. While medical staff were on scene, students and staff held in place to ensure there was no access to the scene. The scene has been cleared, and classes have resumed as normal.

Due to repeated power outages that could continue throughout this evening, the 5th grade orientation has been postponed until Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30.
Afterschool tutoring for AAMS is canceled today, 5/11.

Donut Sale Dates

Due to the weather today, the MS Track meet is canceled & will be made up on Tuesday, April 28th, for 7th & 8th grade. The 5th & 6th grade meet is canceled for Tuesday, April 28th, due to the SVC meet using the rain date.
Abingdon-Avon High School want to inform our community that a potential threat directed at the students and staff of AAHS was reported today. After a thorough investigation in collaboration with local law enforcement, the threat has been determined to not be credible. There is no concern for the safety of our students, staff, or school community. School will continue as normal. The safety and well-being of our students a staff will always be our top priority.
