Holiday fun at the Avon Campus! The winners of the door decorating contest were Mrs. Hayden in first, Ms. Harrison in second, and Ms. Smith in third place.

The Ned Show's Six Trix - for the yo-yo's!

The special yo-yo's that are for Sale for the Ned Show assembly have arrived! Students will be able to shop for which yo-yo they would like to purchase throughout the day at HGS. Avon students who would like to purchase a yo-yo send the forms to the front office in Avon and yo-yo's will be delivered everyday the rest of this week and next week.

The Ned Show is coming HGS on Friday!!! Students will have the opportunity to purchase a special yo-yo like the ones used during the assembly.

Due to a widespread power outage and the district's inability to provide lunch for our students, A-Town will dismiss at 10:45 today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

All buildings in A-Town are currently without power. Our students and staff are safe and adapting at this point. We will keep everyone posted as things develop.

Money and order forms for the Country Road Cupboard Dips fundraiser students at the Avon Campus participated in are due tomorrow, November 20.

The Virtual Book Fair starts this week. Check it out at this site. https://www.scholastic.com/bf/avonelementaryschool4 You may use a debit or credit card. Books will be shipped to your home. Free shipping for orders of $25 or more. Orders under $25 will have a minimal shipping fee.

The students at the Avon Campus started fundraising on November 1. All students PreK-1 and 6-8 were sent home with flyers. If you need an extra copy, please contact the office. Orders and money are due Thursday, November 16.

Power has been restored at the Avon Campus.

The power is currently out in parts of the Avon Campus. Ameren is aware and is on their way to fix the issue. There is not an estimated restore time. Students will receive a hot lunch, as the kitchen is not effected by the outage.
