Reminder: The Carl Sandburg College dual-credit presentation will take place at 6 pm this evening in room 16 at the high school. All sophomores and any juniors not currently taking dual-credit classes in the 2019-20 school year may attend.
The sign-up sheet for the Winter Sports Banquet is available in the high school office. The Kiwanis sponsored winter sports banquet is scheduled for Sunday, March 31st at 5:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Cost for parents and/or grandparents is $6.00/per person. Kiwanis pays for the student's meal. The sign-up deadline is March 28.
Reminder: The spring blood drive, hosted by the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center and the AAHS Student Council, will take place this Monday, March 11th in the High School gymnasium. Please contact jwaller@atown276.net to schedule an appointment. Also, if you are 16 years of age you will need to bring your permission slip.

Second Trimester Finals: Due to the number of school cancellations during the past month the high school finals for the second trimester have been pushed back to Thursday, February 28 and Friday, March 1. Students will take their 4,5, and 6 hour finals on Thursday and their 1,2,and 3 hour finals on Friday.
Update: Tonight's high school boys regional basketball game at United will be played. Tip-off is 7:30 pm vs Lewistown.
Carl Sandburg College will be holding a presentation on Tuesday, March 5th at 6 pm in the high school auditorium for any sophomores and juniors interested in taking dual-credit classes in the 2019-20 school year. Students and parents are encouraged to attend if interested in taking dual-credit classes.
