A Lego garden to brighten our day.
Mrs Gray form the University of Illinois Extension Office came today for our monthly “It’s Fun to Be Healthy!” lesson. Today we learned about “Go” foods and “Whoa” foods. We even went shopping for “Go” foods. We can’t wait until next month. We get to try vegetables. Thanks Mrs. Gray!

Avon Elementary School received a generous donation today of books and funds to purchase additional books, from the the Galesburg Chapter of The Order of Eastern Star. Thank you for your support of our students!
The first collection of donations netted $276.72. Next Thursday, October 25fh is the final collection. Send in your donations to either building.
