Tonight AAMS and AAHS were recognized along with our partners at the ROE for completing the first year of the ActNow Community Schools Grant! Thank you to our amazing partners and Community School Coordinators for all the hard work you have put in to supporting our kids and communities this year! We are looking forward to what's to come!!!
The Abingdon Avon CUSD 276 District Office will start their summer hours May 28, 2025. Summer hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday. We will return to our normal hours on August 4, 2025.

Any incoming freshmen who are interested in playing soccer in high school next year, please contact Coach Foster at sfoster@atown276.net. Summer workouts will begin early June, so please do so as soon as possible.
We are excited to bring to HGS Lunch Buddies for the25/26 school year. . The High School is partnering with us on this endeavor! High School students will be able to earn Volunteer Hours for Lunch Buddies. Please call Outreach Worker, Katelin Nelson for more information. 309-462-2363.

We are rescheduling Field Day for Thursday, May 22, 2025.
Field Day is scheduled for 5/20/25. As of right now the weather is supposed to be scattered thunderstorms throughout the morning. We have a rain date scheduled for Thursday, May 22nd.
4th grade students had fun with the Egg Drop Experiment!
2nd grade field trip to Elevate Trampoline Center! It looks like we might have some tired kiddos on the way back to town!
5th Graders were able to try out different instruments with the help of Mrs.Rakestraw and WIU Band members!
