The custodial staff will be administering weed control treatment to the Avon Elementary/ Abingdon-Avon Middle School property on Saturday, September 21st. Pursuant to our Integrated Pest Management Policy and the Lawn Care Products Application and Notice Act, you are hereby notified of the application of the weed control substance and treatment. If you have any questions, please contact the Avon Elementary School or the Abingdon-Avon Middle School.
AAMS will resume offering After School Tutoring, starting September 24th.
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 3:30-5:30
Where: Mrs. Hayden’s Room/Mrs. Kitch’s Room
Who: Any 6th-8th grade student
Transportation: Bussing to Abingdon-Avon High School will be provided at 5:30 for those students who reside in Abingdon. The bus will drop off at the HS at approximately 5:45pm. Those students residing in the Avon area will need to be picked up at AAMS at 5:30.
If you have any questions about this program, please call AAMS at 309-465-3621. Students do not have to sign-up for tutoring, they just need to stay after school on tutoring days and report to the proper rooms.
For busing purposes, the Middle School will dismiss at 11:55 am tomorrow. All other buildings at 12:10 pm. #atownproud

MS Girls Bastketball practice for tonight has been canceled due to the heat.
Due to the heat, the MS Cross Country meet scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. There will also be no practice.

MS Girls Basketball practice will be from 3:30 to 5:30 Friday. There will be a bus at AAHS 3:00 to take Abingdon players to the MS for practice.
There will also be practice on Saturday morning from 8-10. Bus will be at AAHS at 7:30.
