The following dates will be non-attendance days for A-town PreK (Abingdon and Avon). This is in order for area PreK teachers and paras to participate in Professional Development put on by the ROE.

Hedding Grade School will be having Backpack Night for K - 5, Thurs., Aug. 16 from 5-6 p.m. Students and parents should attend and drop off all supplies, see your classroom and meet your new teacher.
Nice and cool for registration at Hedding until 7 pm today and from 8 am to 3 pm tomorrow.

Kindergarten Registration Parent Meeting at Hedding August 14 at 6 p.m.
New student registration, which includes kindergarten and pre-k students at Hedding, will be August 2 from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. You will be able to register students new to the district in each building.
Walk-in registration will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. August 1st in each school. Even if you have students in more than 1 building, you can register all students at one place.

4th grade walked to the Library today to hear all about the summer reading program.




I was so excited to be picked to talk to the governor and state representatives at the capital building in Springfield. It was much more than I had expected. I loved watching my students talk about how we use technology at Hedding and answering questions myself. Such a wonderful experience. #Tech2018
