Dear 4th Grade Parents,
Prepare yourselves… the Recorder Invasion is upon us!
Thanks to some amazing donors, all students will be receiving a recorder free of charge this year—no purchase necessary!
Recorders will be coming home next week. After that, students should bring their recorder to school each Monday and place it in their classroom recorder bucket. They will bring it back home after their last music class of the week.
If a student forgets their recorder, they may use a school recorder for class. All school recorders are sanitized daily.
If a recorder is broken, please have your child bring it to me so I can see if it can be repaired. If it cannot be fixed, the student may be assigned a school recorder or you may order a replacement for $4.30 plus shipping. Students are also welcome to use a sibling’s recorder if one is available.
Thank you for your support—and for your patience as your home fills with the sweet sounds of “Hot Cross Buns”! 😉
If you need anything or have questions, please feel free to reach out.
Sincerely,
Ms. Rakestraw
