Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5, all students should return to remote instruction. Teachers will have all assignments, instruction and remote meeting links posted on Google Classroom (or Seesaw for PK) . If you are having trouble using any of the links on your child's IPad, please follow the steps to see if the IPad needs to be reauthenticated.
1. Do a Google Search by clicking on Google Chrome. You can search for anything like "cars" or "sharks".
2. If the screen pops up when you do a search asking for your child's username and password, you need to reauthenticate.
Username is: firstname.lastname@atown276.net
Password is: graduation yearatown (ex. Kindergarten students use 2033atown)
3. Click on "Log in with Google". If you just click on "Log In" the Authentication will not work.

Dear Parents/ Guardians
We are in our final 3 days of recording for the virtual Christmas Concert. I will take submissions until Noon on Monday December 14th. After this point, I will stop taking new videos in order to finish editing the concert. My Goal is to upload the concert by the end of next week. Because of this, *** I can not take any late submissions.*** If you sent a video in please make sure I sent a message back to you saying I got it and all was ok. If you are having issues with videos uploading to google classroom please do not wait until Monday to let me know. I have been able to download some student videos through Facebook Messenger, but please email me and let me know to look for them there if you choose to send them that way. **REMEMBER** all of the information on how to record including tutorial videos are on the google classroom. The biggest thing is *****they MUST sing with the video of me in order to line up with the other students.*** (see directions on google classroom for video) Let me know ASAP if you need help.

Last day to turn in concert recordings is Sunday December 13th by midnight. Please help me make this a wonderful Virtual Concert.
The Abingdon Community Center at 801 W. Martin Street (previously the Abingdon Care Center) Cupboard is open every Monday from 9 a.m-10 a.m., Thursday from 5 p.m. to 6 p .m. and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. for free food pick up.
You can also make an appointment to shop at The Closet, where we have an abundance of free child and adult clothing and coats, by calling 309-368-2168. Please leave a message if no answer and someone will return your call as soon as possible.

LOOKING FOR OLD HEDDING CHRISTMAS CONCERT VIDEOS:
As I continue to pull together a virtual Christmas concert, I find I would like to add some more content. I am looking for Christmas Concert videos from the last 4-5 years. They can be ones I directed or Mrs. Dehority. I am looking for classes that are currently in Hedding. If you have a video please send them to me through Google classroom. There is an "Assignment" in Classwork called ATTENTION PARENTS: Looking for old videos. You may also try to email them to me but I have not had much luck with that. You tube videos won't work because I will need to download them. Please know I will not be able to use every video submitted. I am looking to add 4-5 to our virtual concert.

Just a couple things
- Make sure you/ your student are singing with the video of me singing ( It is in the directions).
-Use earphones if you have them
-If you don't have earphones turn my video down so that it is low but you can still hear me.
-Sing nice and loud and strong.
