Hedding Grade School and the Avon Campus will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week from 10/24-10/28.
Friday, October 21 we will be having a snack sale before school! Items will be 50 cents to $1.00. All items will be nut free and all money will go towards our school wide PBIS program! Students will be able to eat the purchased snacks at school in their classroom. Thanks for helping!

There will be no Tornado Time this Wednesday due to 11:30 dismissal. Tornado Time will not be held on any early out days and will not be held on Halloween.
Congratulations Mrs. Peterson who was chosen as the October Teacher of the Month. She received a $100 check from the Abingdon-Avon Schools’ Foundation for supplies.
Hedding Grade School was put on a brief soft lockdown this afternoon. There was never any imminent danger to students or staff and the situation, which was not in Abingdon, has been resolved.
There are no PreK classes this Wednesday, October 5, 2022, for professional development training at the Regional Office of Education.
Tornado Time starts tomorrow, October 3 from 3:30-4:45 for students who have signed up. If you did not sign up your child, but would like for him/her to attend, please call the Hedding office at 462-2363. Avon students will be picked up by the bus at 4:45 and dropped off in front of AES. All Abingdon students should be picked up at Hedding.
