Congratulations to the following students on being the HGS Student of the Month for September.
Kindergarten and Begindergarten students took a field trip to the fire station to see what firefighters do!
This week is Fire Prevention Week! The students pictured won the coloring contest to earn a ride to school in a Fire Truck! Thank you to Mrs. Mathre for organizing the coloring contest!
Today Louise the Dairy Cow came to visit and students learned all about the milking process. Thank you to the St.Louis District Dairy Council for allowing us to learn about Dairy Cows!

A-TOWN School Food Pantry NEWS: In order to receive a food box, you must fill this out and submit by Friday October 11th. This is for the October 17th pickup date which will consist of shelf stable products. Abingdon pickups are from 4-5pm at Hedding Grade School and Avon pickups are from 1:30-2:30pm. Concert preparations have begun at Hedding Grade School!! I know it is a bit early, but it is never too early in music class. Concert practice at home is never mandatory, but if you would like to add a little Christmas Cheer to your Halloween season have your student put on a little home concert for you using this practice website.
