In 1st grade Library/Stem class with Mrs. Anderson, we read a couple stories about the moon. Then we talked about the moon phases. Students then cut out crescent moons and we put baking soda on the paper. Then they watched the chemical reaction when they dropped yellow colored vinegar on their moons.

Thank you so much for supporting our music department through the purchase of a handcrafted Christmas ornament. Our fundraiser did so well we had to order fifty more on top of the hundred we initially ordered! Unfortunately, due to nationwide delays, our package of materials will not arrive until December 21st, meaning that students will not receive their ornaments until after winter break. The third annual Cosmic Bowling event was a huge success, offering glow-in-the-dark coloring, glow-in-the-dark play dough, and a dance floor, leading to a day packed with joy and laughter, and we are pleased to have hosted this event again for our students at Hedding.
